That was an interesting thread. The counterweight I’m getting is a homemade block of metal with lift pins. The seller thinks it’s closer to 2,000lbs. If I got the tires filled my current box would be enough.
Remember that fluid in the tires does NOT relieve any weight off of the front axle! I got all of my lead from tire shops they all save it. Melted it, scooped out the steel and poured it in.
Correct...only weight added behind the fulcrum point (rear axle) will relieve the front axle of any burden
