Plowing snow is a great way to get the hang of controlling your bucket-it's a fine line between pushing the snow cleanly and gouging your driveway and lawn!
Agree! Maybe because it was dark, instead of peeking at the bucket i was trying to line up the guide thing. A couple gouged areas both from me and my son. Learning curve it is.
90% was with the grizzly. Im at the end of a dead end road that i plow. There are camps down that road but they only come up a few times a year- so i take care of it all. Its a bit less than a quarter mile. I put the fel in float mode that seemed to do well. Getting the curl perfected is still tricky. Hopefully we get a sizable storm so i can practice more.
I got this old plow from a coworker for 50 bucks. It’s temp mounted in this pic but it’s much better than trying to plow with the bucket. Much better than plowing with the wheeler IMO
Some....ok a lot of people think I'm over the top but I go as far as putting the plastic caps on all my fittings. I get them from McMaster Carr and they come in different colors, cheap also. Even under my vehicles they stay on.
Nothing wrong with over the top. It's sandy here and that chit would stick right to the grease and eventually make its way in- and that wouldn't be good. Ill check em out, thanks for the heads up! Edit...... Something like this..... https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B015...itting+cap&dpPl=1&dpID=51iZjxKYhQL&ref=plSrch
Possibly ask your dealer that sold you the tractor. Dealers by me will rent any used piece of equipment on the lot.
My dealer 1.5 hrs away, but we have more within a half hour. I'll call em. Meanwhile, burning some brush today
