    Hello; not sure about the model number you quoted. The stove I have is called the Madison with model number 50-SHSSW02. The first issue I noticed with the stove was the spring handle on the damper control, the door would hit and push and drag the control in and out. I contacted ESW and they sent a new knob but it was the same diameter, they either need to find a new spring knob to use; the other cure would be to make the door a bit shorter as it really could be since the air wash plate covers that part of the glass anyway. The problem that I am now seeing is with the gaskets on the glass and the retaining clips for the glass. See: Madison Door Gasket

    As for the AAS feature, I have been using that and I like the feature. Before I guess at when to damper down the stove for over night burns. Now it is doing much better using the AAS.

    Yes mine is summers heat by england stove works model 50-shsswo2. My air knob is really close to touching the top of the door but doesnt
