Good load Tim, I'm fortunate to have a good friend that has a wood working shop, couple, three 25 pound bags of kiln dried scrap lasts me easy a year.
My FIL is a home builder and make his own cabinets too. I don't get any kiln dried lumber like that, but I have more kiln dried kindlin than I can use in the next 5 years. So how do you get all that from the trailer to the storage bin? And hows the "new" stove doing for you now that you've lived with it for a couple seasons?
There is a slim chance i might be able to make it to the GTG, haven't posted in your thread about it I'm waiting to see what my schedule looks like a little closer to the event. If i am able to make it i might just load up the back of the truck with kindling and .let whoever wants some to take it. If I don't make it, anyone traveling down I-69 is welcome to pick up some on there way through, PM me if you want some!
Thanks jdude We'd love to see you at the gtg and bringing some kindling would be super. I'm sure some others will be bringing good things too. I've offered for anyone wishing to take wood home with them to feel free to do so. May have a few other goodies we can spare too.
It looks like some of that load has paint, do you burn that? Just curious, I'd probably burn it, my wife probably wouldn't.
Only a couple pieces. I'll use them for camp fire starter. The other blue thing is a case of water that I used to freeze it to the trailer to keep it from sliding off. It was 10 degrees Saturday morning and the wood was frosted and didn't want to stay on the trailer. A few bottles of water and it froze down tight
Julie and I flat shovel it into trash cans and drag it in. It's not too bad. Been using the new IS for a couple months. Love it! And there's always coals left, so this load of kindling should last a few years
