"kicker Stove"

Funny, we went for a shopping trip today and I casually mentioned the larger stove on our return home. Of course, the weather outside was cold and windy with that wind cutting through you, you know? What better time to mention a larger stove for the basement next year?
Normally, it would have been greeted with a "I don't think so" but the timing must have been right on because she asked how big?

I'm getting kinda good at this, no?

 

Our setup is just the opposite, wood furnace in the basement and wood stove up in the living room fireplace. I also wish the stove was a little bigger, mainly for burn times, well, that and not having to play firewood jenga to load that lil firebox up. I like to use the stove in the spring and fall, then burn the furnace in colder weather, or even both during "polar vortex", nice n toasty in here then!
The only way I can go much bigger is to go with a insert stove. I missed out on a half price deal on a Drolet 1800i a couple years ago...kickin myself on that one. Get the NC30 while the deal is still there...mama will understand

I actually control several hydros and a couple nukes there in Michigan, but they ain't gonna take out your local distribution, and well I don't want to get fired for trying lol
