Real honey bees are no problem at all. This is very misleading because it calls africanized bees honey bees. For most of us, we will never see those bees even if we get into a hive by accident. Yes, I do bees as well as wood and on my worst ever day with my bees I picked up about 10 stings by being very intrusive into a hive that was in a situation that caused them to be very defensive. If you get into honey bees by mistake, you can most often stop them attacking you by backing away 10 or 15 feet. You need to understand that a honeybee that stings you is committing suicide and they need to feel very threatened to go that far to defend the colony.

africanized bees in New Hampshire ? I rather doubt it.
Yellow jackets are more likely and they are content to live in a hole in the ground, in a house wall or in a hollowed out section of tree
