First time in many, many years, just put $ down wth a reputable forum member here for a few skids of pellets. I run natural gas for heat, but seeing the scarry level it hit today, and knowing people who jut put $900 in oil tank to top off, its downright scary. We havant had a TOUGH WINTER in many years. What if you can't get oil at any price?
Good for you.Who knows what it will be like in the fall.I just put 3 tons in the pellet bunker for next year.First time I have ever bought pellets this early.I heated with oil last year but at 6.25 a gallon no way.I'm a little concerned with the world these days.
I order 4 tons every April from my dealer.. drops off 2 skids in summer/ 2 skids in january. this way I am always ahead... as far as pricing it's same all over.. cost more each year.. could go with box store stuff for cheaper prices but my stove get's dirtier faster and the heat is low 8K BTU. I pay more for the better stuff but can keep my feed rate lower so they last longer and still kick out high 8K BTU. am either ahead or even stephen.. what the heck..
