I was just taking a little trip down memory lane and thought I'd share a few pics of me and the fam. The wife and I snowshoeing. Behind us is Union Valley Reservoir which is about a 1/2 hour from our place. My pride and joy at Wrights Lake... Cabins at Wrights... This is really cool. If you notice just under the water there is a ramp. That is a canoe launch ramp at Wrights. There's no power boats allowed. The lake is shallow and a phenomenal place to fly fish.
That's wild, swimming with snowy mountains above! You don't get that in the east ( unless you like winter swimming).
Boy, I miss the Sierras. Rocky's are cool but I've always been partial to that glacially polished Granite. Great pics.
