Our "big city" is also Portland, and also filled with these fruitcake - snowflake type's. Scary to see this mentality in the heartland.
Sooooooooooo I just watched this video and uuuuummmmm really not suuuuuuure what to make of it. i can only imagine peeps like that walking up to me while cutting Don't see too many of them thar kind around my parts.
Once nice thing about living in the heart of the Appalachian mountains is , you don't need to worry about seeing people roaming the woods that don't belong there.
The worst part about this kind of stuff is people (sheep) pay others to do something that is absolutely free in the first place. Around here we get those new to town folks who go on guided snow shoe hikes in an inch or two of snow with their expensive aluminum snow shoes and walking poles. They just look silly.
I almost fell off my couch watching this the morning it aired. Grown. Adult. Humans. Stalking trees with there "deer ears" on. The word deportation comes to mind. That particular TV channel has been slipping over the edge for years. Hard to unsee such nonsense. Wonder if there fearless leader (in the wilds of Ia.) enlightened them to the fact that many lovable/huggable trees here also have a certain noxious vine clinging to them. Now I will commence fueling. Oiling. And dropping some of there "prey" today. Heading out soon. Shhhhhh. I can hear the granola crunching now..........
The only people that I want with me when enjoying a walk in the woods is me, myself,I and Springfield XD!
