    My youngest son and best friend Dan turned 19 yesterday, man has the time flown! Many of you have met him at the GTG's and know first hand what a great young man he is, his mother and I couldn't have asked for a more amazing son......he makes me thankful be his father every single day! I sure do enjoy working the trees with him, he's been helping Joe and I quite a bit recently....

    And he just finished his freshman year at Penn State University main campus working on his Mechanical Engineering degree with straight A's! Couldn't be more proud!

    Happy Birthday!!! They do grow up so fast.

    Hey fellas, please...watch out for that T-post there by that tree. Would hate for someone to be impaled. NOT GOOD!!! Next time watch out for that stuff. Good friend of mine dropped out of a tree and fell on top of a mailbox. Never dreamed it would be in the way. Nearly killed himself.

    I realize no one ever plans on falling out of a tree, but it's best to make sure nothing is there to brake your fall, but the ground. I'd prefer you stay safe in the tree and not come down unless you can climb down. LOL!!!

    Indeed we wish Dan a very happy birthday. We're proud to have had him come to a couple GTG's here at our place and he is a joy to have around.

    At the last GTG, we found out after the fact that he even went up on top of one of our barns to clean off the roof as there were lots of junk that had fell from the oak that is by the barn. Thank Dan! We hope to see you again soon.

    Happy birthday Dan. Remember him from last year's GTG. He impressed me very much. Up on the shed roof cleaning it off to cooking the potatoes to helping clean up that tree you and Walt dropped
    Plus he just the week before completed his Eagle project. Be proud dad.
