Are you buying them for resale? If so, and you don't mind me asking, which one are you buying, and how much are you hoping to get for each? I was thinking of the 2255 and trying to get $350 for it. It would be an easier sell on CL than the 2166.
Got some 2050. Trying to offset the cost of the 1 I am keeping. Like you, figured more people would buy a $400 saw for $250 versus a $800 saw saw for $600. Alot more people willing and able to spend $250 than $600. I am not sure what I will ask for sure. Better hurry, not a lot left.

It finally came today via Purolator. It'll be a nice compliment to my slightly smaller 2165. I'll use both of them to cut up the firewood logs this fall so they both get use. These are both beautiful machines.
Apparently the R stamped into the handle Means refurbished I've had mine apart and it's never seen wood Or had any damage Some guy's on ope and as received Well used saws with cosmetic damage and one with a broken handle. These were advertised as new That's not true mine is new condition even though it's a 2013 model. Other's got 2016 models i spoke with.

That’s pretty deceitful. It specifically states “NOT REFURB” right in his listings. My dad received his 2255 but I haven’t been over to check it out. Given the price I wouldn’t be against purchasing a refurb but it should be listed as so.
Mine has the R on the handle when turned upside down but has zero signs of ever being used or started. No smell from the gas tank, no scratches or oil seepage from anywhere.
