I bought the 2095 a few years ago with 2 and 5 ft bars on it. I don't really have a use for the 5 ft bar but haven't figured out how to sell it. A guy posted a 660 with 8 tanks of gar through it this morning asking $900 or barter for a saw with a 5 ft bar on it. Does this make any sense for me to pursue?

I concur. Keep the 2095 & 5ft bar combo. They're not easy to find & will continue to hold their value.

Let somebody else pay that for his 660. I doubt you would gain anything performance wise.

I would go and check it out.

The 2095 is one of the saws that doesn't have a lot of compatible parts with the 395 Husq. The 2095 parts are getting harder to find and are more expensive.

It's been well known on another site that the 2094 and 2095 are saws that are very pricey to fix. There was one for sale for $250 a few months back. I was warned not to buy because of the parts/price issue.

If you could get into that 660 for cheap, then I'd be all over it.

Cool thanks guys. The 95 doesn't have a lot of hours on it and has always been a blast to run. I doubt I'll ever use it up cutting firewood. Its possible that one of the big pines at the camp will fall somewhere I care about and I'll be able to put the big bar to use:saw:

I wouldn't make the trade. 5' is too much bar for the 2094 also. Being in NY the guys at the cuttin edge might be able to help you out on the bar.

    this place? http://www.fastcutting.com/

Incidentally, I am much more concerned about the bar being too much for me than the saw;) The guy I bought it from was trying to bulk cut railroad ties and from how little use it got he appears to have quickly thought better about it. The saw is a screamer with the 24" bar but I deal with enough bigger stuff that it would be nice to turn the 60"er into something in the 32-36" range.

Not sure how to figure this out? It's bigger than the standard mount that is on the 371 and also on my buddy's 2095.

How would a Super 1050 do with one of those? I imagine 60" is gear-drive territory.

It may pull it ok but I would think a gear drive would do better.
