I got a Johnson J7700 wood furnace last night to replace my stove in the shop. Was wondering if anybody had an owners manual and parts manual they would be willing to share. This is my first wood furnace and would like to make sure I get it going properly. Wondering if this used fire brick or not too. Do not want to melt anything!

The unit is in good shape other than the flue baffle is melted and the thermostat that operates the fire air flap on the front door is missing. Found some parts online that are similar but do not want to get the wrong parts.

I found a cross reference to the Hotblast 1300 furnace. You might look there.

Yes, wood only which is fine. I don't live in a coal area. Ordered a complete thermostat assembly for the 1300 since everything is missing related to that. Found this is a firebrick furnace, just not sure how to attach it to the walls. I don't see any attachment points.
