I have a railroad lantern I got from my granddad. It has a different globe, but still red. It even has the original cotton in the fuel reservoir and a strong smell of what I think is coal oil.
Got some 3 wire fisher plows that I have to convert to fleet-flex 2 wire ,so I gave a buddy a template and he burned out these brackets for me,they will get welded to the upright and allow me to properly convert, housing the necessary electrics.
Makes a guy miss the old belt driven pump. More hydraulics than wiring. Plow season is rapidly approaching.
It would be very interesting to find out how one would switch between the two different pumps. I would think driving them both continuously would cause excessive wear.
