It's very clean, but the first 860 hours of operation..... was by the logger that bought it new.
I think you might know how (most of) those boys "roll".
No dents or dings, but a couple of mirrors are gone.

just watched a back 40 vid on the tube with a box wedge splitter...pretty sure i will never ever own one even if i hit powerball

 

They sure do seem to make a lot of junk and waste. I kinda feel the same about 4 and 6 way's but I've never owned or operated either.
edit; I did help a friend last year tend a processor and that had a 6 way. It sure seemed to make a lot of chit that was just wast but it sure was fast.

 

It's not just the trash,it's also the wood that comes out of it looks like a porcupine.
You can see the whole splitter flex when it bogs down,trying to force wood into a pre determined shape.

 

Kinda wish you could get that time back, don’t you?

 

I like the idea of the design but seems like you’d need Goldilocks rounds for it to work as intended
