Nice looking tree - smart to get one early. Great price too. HD is much the same in our area.

Just got the order from the Boss, time to get a tree here. :saw: :tree:

Well the pot has historically been used to pizz inside during the cold nights when you don't want to freeze your parts off  to go out and find a tree or the outhouse. If CL needs a pot, then that means he can't possibly be in the city as they usually have indoor plumbing :D

Looks like we're headed for another round of mild weather around here. The next 10 days are forecast to be 40s and 50s daytime / 20s and 30s night time. I'll take it!

Must be an epidemic or ????
I got up about an hour ago and walked into the family room, Gawd, like walking into a heatwave.
Been running the little Whit only since Monday afternoon.

Even with only the little Whit going it was 75 F in the house this morning "Arrrrrrrrgh"
Turned it off and gonna let the shack cool off.

I try hard to keep the place right about 70 F and anywhere between 68 to 72 F is acceptable.
75 F is just a bridge too far.

Warmer weather for the next few days then likely see some much colder stuff by Saturday.

I love it when we can heat with only the little stove.
Uses far less shells than feeding the BIG WHIT
    About half the amount.

I'm not complaining, I'll take it. Been pretty easy to keep the shack warm this season. Only used 60 some odd bags so far. I think we were over 80 last season??

We have yet to have any REAL cold.
Been in the upper 20's F a few times but no nasty stuff.
A couple inches of snow and some ice on it back in December, but otherwise not bad.

I'm waiting for the hammer to drop. :bug:
February can be nasty and we can get Snow in March

I've kind of expected we have been lucky so far and waiting for the shoe to drop. Then again, Its looking much like 2012 and we had the bass boat out on the lake mid February and we shed the jackets by noon time. Temps were like in the mid 70ºF's or so.

I can have the boat ready for the water in an hours time.:D

I would enjoy it also, if I had a better quality pellet. I can't burn on the lowest settings and they're making a freaking mess. I also have discovered that I'm burning more pellets per hour. Is PPH a discussed point when it comes to comparing pellets? It will be with me from now on. Because they won't run on the lowest setting, I have used more pellets per hour than the LG's. I had gotten just 3 1/2 days from 3 bags of LG's. I only got 2 1/2 days from 3 bags of these maeders; thus my frustration. So almost a day less.....? That means it's costing me something like a bag of Maeder's more per three day period.

Three bags of LG's at $6.10 each or $18.30
Four bags of Maeders at $4.90 is $19.60

So it's costing me $1.30 more for the same period. Plus more cleaning per six bag intervals. (and a vacuum filter:whistle:) I thought I was saving money per ton. I'm saving money only on the pick up/delivery cost.

apologies for a little tangent here, but i've had the same paper filter on my shop vac since 2011.
and i use that thing a lot.
heh, i'm just proud of this for some reason, and the wife has heard it a dozen times already.
and this year i started using the metro duster (500 watt motor mini air blower) to clean it, so i don't even have to touch it with a brush.
will it make it to 2020?
btw- this thing is the best. really strong and very solidly built. i got it for the PC, but that task is about 4th down on the list now.
use it last night to blow the crap out of the door track in the shed after i broke up the frozen sand that had accumulated.
i wrap a scrap of flannel around it as a gasket, and blow out the combustion motor channel from inside the firebox when i do the cleaning as well.
    best $60 i have ever spent. http://www.amazon.com/Metro-Vacuum-ED500-500-Watt-Electric/dp/B001J4ZOAW

when you use the smaller attachments, the force is tempered down for gentler tasks, but the large attachment allows for some serious force.

We're having good luck w/ the LG's here also, about the same usage, mostly on setting (3) / 1.4 lb/hr -> we may up it to setting (4) / 1.6 lb/hr for a few hours, on colder days.

LG's are going for 5.98 /bag here, found a local source: planning on picking up some bulk of LGs now, then LaCrete and Olympus after tax season.

Was glad to read you found another use for the Maeders in your sig, at least they won't be wasted..
