    BEER?
    :D

One forecast showed some for my area, But the other stations are showing warmer temps. So I'll keep my fingers crossed we don't see any.

Then again, I do need to try out these s**w tires!! On second though, That can wait!! I'd rather blow leaf's around......

Over 50 here too. Had to open the slider while cooking the bird. House got over 76 at one point. Nice to air out the house with some crisp fall air.

Still over 50° here with a light rain. Looks like the long range forecast might pizz of some pellet salesman. Don't see many under 40°F high's and and milder than normal lows with only a few below freezing.

I'm loving it! Should have kept the boat ready. Last few were decent days to hit the water! Next year I won't be so apt to winterize so quickly!

    Sorry ,

Most of us here are locked and loaded and add to the stash as we burn them down , find something new , or at great price . Right now the pendulum is swinging towards us the end user . Pellets don't spoil they'll get sold , maybe at a lower profit margin ,IMO .

I think many were banking on super sales like last season and the season before. Like countin the chickens before they hatched??

I'm surprised they haven't dropped the prices a bit more. But then again, They are still moving some. Just not as much or as fast as last season. No sweat of my knuckles, I'm set too.

I think that more people bought early "spring buys" and maybe a larger quantity than in previous years , couple that with lower Dino / gas prices and warmer temps , and those that sit on the fence aren't buying and with the BB's keeping prices high [ although HD has dropped ] , it's helped the pellet houses compete they have more choices and better stuff in same price range again IMO our insiders can shoot a hole in that if they want

41* and a drizzle out. Nasty day, for sure. Gotta make a dog food run, and maybe grab a small tree while I'm in the area.....the "new" shack doesn't allow for much more than about 4'. Not many that size around, so better get it while I can.

We've got about the same weather - a little cooler as the temp is down to 38, cut shouldn't drop any further until nightfall. Wish it would quit raining - I got ashes to dump dang it.

I think this is the biggest hurt to their sales.

The 2 pellet houses I talked to say they are steady, But lower compared to this time last season(spring buys included). Looking at the stacks at the 3 BBS, Don't think they are moving as much as they expected either.

They have been rather quite lately. Not much gloom and doom being spread this season. Only sqeakin I have heard is the limited hardwood fiber causing some mills headaches. But the blend and the softies are abundant and readily available.

Was just at Lowes picking up a tree, and their garden outdoor area is stuffed with more tons of pellets than I've ever seen there.....every available open area has stacks of pellets 2 rows high.

Oh, and speaking about that I tree I mentioned earlier, here it is.....5' (4' after base trim & top trim) that was on sale for 25% off = a $19 tree that was really nicely shaped.

Go for but as far as we are concerned here it is way too early with the tree OM. Gives us the willies just seeing them at the various big boxes.
