Thanks for your comments Larry and thanks for your Service to this country ! The job I just left I had the honor to work with one hell of a man another Irishman and a Nam Vet as well we worked very well together and am hoping we can hook up once again to work together. Straight up no bullchit kinda of man like myself and we are becoming few and far in between with all the ladder climbers coming out of college and entering the business, granted not all of them as I have mentored some really good kids but the majority are entitled kids whom just don't get what it means to take pride in your work and deliver the best you can if that means going the extra mile.
I could not be happier with my new stove and admire the craftsmanship that went into making this fine piece, look forward to using it for a long time to come. Some day when I get more work complete in my house I also look forward to running this stove on room temp as it is alluring and should be nice.
    Thanks again

Same here Larry. I have never done the leaf blower on my venting, it really isnt needed. Also I have gone as much as 2 ton between cleaning the vent with a linteater and even then, not a whole lot comes out.

The P68 (and I assume the whole P Series) is an awesome stove.

    Yes, they are.

I'm a stove temp guy. I run the stove in room temp at night and at work, but when I'm home, stove temp only. It seems to work better for me in this house.

everyone should experiment with this....Im a room temp guy most of the time, but when its really cold, like 10 below, I'll go stove temp as well.....here in the tropics we dont see those temps as much as you folks up North

Me too , I like it better than room temp , I don't like the ramp up then down cycle , I like to see the flame and I know that I get 24+ hours out of 40 lbs of pellets .

I think heating from the basement works better with the steady heat.

I agree G . I experimented with room temp several times last season with the p43 it seemed to me that when the stove was off , I could feel the Man Cave cool off too much before it kicked back on unacceptable . Stove temp all the way for me .
