Thanks man great information to work with , my feed rate does not go below 4 in this house still learning and messing with settings. One thing for sure after dropping some serious coin I WILL be keeping the Mrs. Toasty to ward off me having to explain how That *as she points to the Harman* was almost $4k ! Very happy with it and look at it as a long time investment as it should last a long time with TLC. As I get more of the house restored it will be even appreciated even more.
Once again thanks for all the information ! Stove does not smell to bad at all cooked it for 5 hours before bringing it in the house and its getting a workout at night in the house so should not be to long for it to be completely gone.
    Much obliged

I will do that sometime soon, currently its the only place I can really set it up as my significant other does not have any interest coming out a wall and the other working chimney is where my Oil burner vents. There is only one place in the entire house that is cold and unfortunately that room happens to be the wife's bathroom DOH. Four chimneys in the house one which they took down below the roof line and capped it (became a chase for electrical and data) one is between the house and the garage in total disrepair , and then the two others I am using for stove and oil burner . When i get time I should have a layout of the house somewhere.
    Thanks

Congrats on the new Harman   lot's of good advice from TT right there set feed rate at 4 and don't mess with it , I'd run it in constant burn mode , because your house is not well insulated . I run both mine that way , I like seeing the fire all the time , I guess that's from being a long time wood burner .

lots of opinions on how to run it! Play with the settings! The only thing I would suggest though is to leave the feed rate setting at 4. Less than that and you risk burning the fire way down into the throat of the burnpot, which can cause auger erosion and feeder weldment degradation......that's expensive to fix!

Right on , Lune just have fun with it and you'll figure out what works best for you , and it's really nice that you got some time off from work so you can spend some time with the stove , and see what it dose as you change the settings .

now, have you noticed any of the ancillary effects of owning a Harman yet? Watch for items such as:
    1. Your wife seems happier.
    2. And she seems more attracted to you.
    3. The members of the opposite sex (or your sex of choice) seem to be more outgoing towards you.
    4. You have a feeling of higher self-worth, just vague, nothing you can put your finger on.....
    5. You find yourself with more free time
    6. Dos Equis has been calling you.....
    7. You feel like the Pats have a better chance now....
    8. Everyone seems to think "YOU da MAN!...."
    9. ?

Oh dear Lord don't let the Mrs. hear that, exactly what she said when discussing the possibility of getting the Harman and I replied and this is the truth: No dear that smoking Sled (nice Ski-Doo) I passed on the way to get the Stove with the $4k price tag is a toy this is going to heat our House this is an essential item that benefits the two of us and our pets!
Thanks G appreciate it happy as hell and working how I can sell the Pelpro setup in the basement, I actually know her bathroom is the only cold room really cold in the house and the kitchen is second to that .

Congrats with the p68. We love our stove, also p68. It will burn any pellet I feed it. I use the room temp feature. Stove stays much cleaner. Starts up hot, hot, hot, then simmers down. over and over. so now build up in the burn pot. I just cleaned it earlier this week after at least a month of burning without opening up the door. Got the vac out. There was a small black build up on the edge of the feed pot just beyond the auger. That knocked right out with the tip of the vac. Be sure to clean out where it ignitor is. The vid. that came with the stove shows you what you need to do. My venting doesn't get much ash or soot in it. I've done the Leaf Bower thing, but it is very disappointing after what I used to get with the Napoleon. Now, just a little gray stuff and that is all. I only clean that out mid burning season and again at the end. I don't have trim on my stove, but I would like it. My shop has some costumed made ones that I really like. They have a loon that I would like to have.
