    Lowes is running their Spring commercials saying its time to fertilize the lawn. Maybe I can fertilize the shoveled paths and when the snow melts, I will have green walkways !! :)

    I just checked the local 7 day forecast and the 10 day forecast at Weather.com and while both are predicting cold, no below 0 temps were predicted. I hope old Joe is wrong.

    I'm pretty sure he was talking about being much colder compared to the average temps for this time of year, not just temps below 0.

    I am seeing a 40 percent chance of a snowstorm next week. While this is not a huge percentage, winter is not giving up. I have noticed some warm days coming up in the high 50's, but nights are staying in the 20.'s to 30's.

    I'm on day 5 right now.......

    Day 5 of running my LP furnace :)

    Yep. That's right. 1st time in over 6 years it's been used for heat. :cool:

    I finally put a new electric range in the kitchen. My last LP fill was 11/09 and I have just under 40%. I need to burn that up (or as much as I can) before they pick up the tank this Summer (June).

    So my wood and pellet burning is done. Only had 30 bags of pellets left, so I am kinda glad.

    Nice to have a little break. It's like Summer came early for me. :yes:

    Time to clean the stoves and get them ready for summer :D

    :yes:You will be going through withdrawals come August and be saying I can't wait for the cold temperatures to get here! :DOf course there is always bon-fires during the off season to get your fire fix!:firepit:

    Just had a fire outside yesterday. :)

    Wife calls me on the way home and says "Whatcha doin? " and I reply "Starting a fire. "
    She then replies "Seriously, I thought you were done with that for the year! I knew you wouldn't make it till Summer!"
    That's when I told her it was outside. LOL.. She got a laugh out of it. She really thinks I won't make it.

    The heat isn't the same... Not at all. House is still at 73° but it's cold. o_O I really just want to start one more fire. Or run the pellet stove upstairs. Just to take the chill off :smoke:

    Its cold rainy and cold to be exact. I had to leave work early cause I feel like chit. But on the plus side they came and fixed my tractor today.:thumbs::thumbs:
