Awesome Stinny! You will get some thumbs up with that unique yacht on the lake... I'm jealous for sure... Interesting extension handle for the outboard.. Do you think you will need a little more flotation down the road? Probably very doable if needed...even could add a couple rear facing seats eventually. Just spending your money buddy!
... had a few splinters slow me down a bit this summah Rotti... I think Eric VW must have heard me growlin too. I thought there'd be ice on the lakes before it got wet. Hopin for a couple months of decent weathah... we'll see... it's Maine...
Thx Fan... the extra center pontoon is already in the works. When I built the deck, I put 2 carrier beams under it that line up as supports for it. The motor also needs the center toon in front of it to help it's draft. Will still use it as is. Not much time left this season. Wanna get my honey out on a few of the gazillion lakes in Maine.
I like it... Good thinking... That middle toon will make all the difference.. Now I'm curious as to how big of toon and how long... And where you will get it.., adding the outboard to the back of the center toon? Bigger is better, those grandkids will want to go out too.. No need to answer, I can wait until next spring for the pics...
Thx Dave... when we got up to 1/2 throttle, the water flooded the rear half of the deck because water was slamming into the motor mount... for a second, it prolly looked like the Titanic...
Going to use a Jet Sled, and seal it over the top. The sled is really rugged and should be perfect. It's 2' wide x 5' long x 12" deep. I have an old one here in good shape. We'll see what happens. The trailer took almost as much of my time as the cat did. Beefing it up and replacing the old V blocks. They were like concrete and cracked. As I mentioned, still more to do. I think that's half the fun...
