Wow. I just looked it up. Arkansas has a standard. Cords or fractions thereof, since 2001.
The standard is not enforced. 99% is sold by the “rick”. Occasionally by the truck load or pile. I’ve never known it to be sold by the cord.

I see a few people selling 128 cu ft cords like there are too many different kinds. Whether actually they know what a 128 cu ft cord is might be an unknown.
