Is huskvarna cheapening the brand?

Jonsered is the same saw as a Husqvarna, except the handlebar is straight for a felling sight, whereas the Husqvarna has an angled handlebar. Otherwise, most parts will interchange if you don't mind mixing colors! Husqvarna has made a decision to drop the Jonsered name from the larger pro saws and rebrand them as RedMax. A lot of casual saw users have little knowledge of Jonsered, but I'll guarantee that they've never even heard of RedMax!

The last real Jonsereds design was the 910 sold in the 1980's. And the S was dropped from the name after that.
From Stihl going to box stores like Farm and Fleet, and the rest of the brands in the box stores changing names every 6 months, I think the whole works is swirling down the drain!

I have enough to keep me occupied for a long time anyway, so I'm just spouting off.
