Introduction and Wood question!

    Might be yellow birch.
    If the bark is actually a golden color that the camera sensor didn't capture.
    Is rather common around here.

    KInda big flaky bark though which could be black/river birch. Never seen one for real around here.


    Either way, grab it quick, get it cut, split and stacked .

    Welcome to FHC rd200x. These guys/gals out here like seeing close ups. Bark, ends and splits. Also leaves if they have some.

    I would guess cherry. The flaky bark effect in the picture seems to be vines.
