Welcome 303bourbon. We like lots of pics, beer and pets. Looks like you are well on your way to the 3 yr. Plan. Hope you will enjoy it here, which I know you will.
Welcome aboard 303Bourbon Great to see you got a jump on the wood. As you've been a lurker, you already know it's a great site with great people.
Welcome aboard 303Bourbon Great pics and an excellent start on your 3 year plan. Here’s what T.Jeff Veal was referring too, if you haven’t located it yet- Primer on Woodburning by Backwoods Savage
I really like it. I bought the saw before we decided to do firewood, so I wasn't sure how it would handle more regular use. It's really handled everything well, and I haven't come across anything yet that's made me wish for a bigger more powerful saw. I'm sure eventually I'll want a bigger one, but for now I don't have any complaints.
Let's welcome a new member on here, Jlytton . I met him today on the FB group Stihl Chainsaw Fans page after I posted a photo of my hunny and her new saw. I told him about our forum, he checked it out, liked what he saw and joined up. He hails from the great state of Virginia.
Welcome to all the new members here! It will be much busier around here once the heating season begins!
Good morning all! Thanks for letting me join your group. Looks like lots of good information on here and I'm interested to learn and share with the group. I'm from Virginia and cut for myself, my father, and my father in law. I also sell a little wood when I have enough to help others out. Cutting wood is truly one of the things I enjoy the most in my off time away from work. I run a MS 362 with a 20" bar, and 441c with a 20" and 24" bar.
Jlytton Welcome to you and all other recently joined members. I have joked around by saying the reason we're all here is because we are not all there. Seriously though it has been a huge blessing
