Welcome to the club, MJK. I think you're gonna like it here! You've got some great FHC neighbors near you. We like snowmobiling in northern Maine. Beautiful state!
Welcome to FHC MJK Farm .... Pull up a log too as Eric VW said the best firewood site on the net... We've got a variety of taste on this site... meander around and you'll find more than just burning firewood...
Hello everyone! I'm an ole VA boy who grew up on a wood stove. It's nothing I love more then me and my dad cutting some firewood. This looks like a great site and I'm glad I can be apart of it.
Not sure what part you are farm, but if you like old stoves, need parts, or need a rebuilt stove (to have done for you, or already done) try Bryant Stove Works in Thorndike. I am not giving them a free advertisement, I happened to be in there last week when I needed a couple legs for my 124 year old wood/coal stove. They had them...and more. You and your wife might like the place. I love old stoves and just drool. (It has a museum too).
Welcome Hall84 and MJK Farm.. glad to have ya in this crazy group.. we LIKE of just about anything .. trees, tools, pets, saws, splitters, trucks etc etc.. just a hint
LodgedTree, thanks for the cool advice. I'll take a look for sure when we go up 95. I am pretty excited to have gotten this stove, can't wait to fire it up and post some pictures of it.
