I have in floor PEX in my shop but in the winter I keep it turned down to about 50 because it's expensive to run. I do supplemental heat with a bio mass stove running a corn pellet mix when I'm out there and turn it off, when I'm not. I'd be worried about a chunk wood stove inside when not there. The biomass stove can be shut off and started when I need it. I also have a waste oil burner (Kleen Burn) but I tend to run out of drain oil pretty quickly and the are high upkeep too.
