Not like it has a personality, but I found this melt pattern interesting. Gotta' be quite a bit of sublimation, because the wood hasn't gotten wet, yet the snow is going away. For your viewing enjoyment........... Casper was takin' a break to chew on his chunk of wood while he waited for the slowpoke (me) to catch up.
Sun was nice with a bit of wind which probably made the wind chill well below zero, since the actual temp was less than +5. It was a nice walk, and the dogs always love going out there.
Amazing how they enjoy lying down in that stuff. Nice pattern the snow is making. Thanks for sharing. Can't wait until we have that little snow on our stacks. I've been knocking some off the half stacks, but it is just going to have to melt (or sublimate!) off the stacks that are six feet tall.
If we've had a total of 12" of snow this year, I'd be surprised. I knocked the snow off a couple of the small stacks at the far end a couple days ago, and now they're covered again. Only a couple inches last snowfall and we're due for a warmup, so I don't expect it to stay that way very much longer. I thought it looked cool.
Stacks look good for sure! Casper is digging the snow.... looks like she's using her tail to count how may cars that come through the driveway. Like those rubber hoses they put across roads.
She's a he. Should be a nice warmup Dennis. Since we don't have much snow, I'm hoping the ice rink will be short-lived.
