Got my fuel shutoff the other day. I installed it on the splitter and ran though a tank and a quarter through the MTD splitter. I think I have the float a little high as it drops a little gas out until the shutoff won't allow any more to drip out. I'll need to adjust that.

The governor spring being tighter like it is does make it tougher to start than it should be. Pushing on the governor to keep the gas/ rpm down when attempting to start it helped and I got it running well then.

I split almost all the Ash I had on hand that my buddy and I cut at his land a couple weeks ago. That was a full load. I ran out of time before dinner tonight, so I'll split the rest tomorrow.

The wood I split today is the stuff stacked against the side of the shed. It's a little more than a cord with the red oak and elm from my other buddy with the JD subcompact.

    The splitter.
