Ingrown toe nail- what am I in for

    I get them all the time Ive had one removed by a doctor they injected it with a numbing agent which didnt really work then dug in and ripped it out. I just dig them out by myself now take a couple shots of something strong and just get in there:drunk::saw:

    Ive been using the dr sholls nail softening stuff so I can perhaps lift it away a bit.

    I wouldn't rule that out. Hard to tell which one to do when there are 10 toes on each foot.

    I've ripped half a dozen out over the years.
    The last one I did 5 or so years ago got infected bad, right in the middle of our busy season and I soaked and brined and peroxide bathed and ointmented that phatbastage for weeks and weeks before it got better. Towards the end I just had to cut away all the swelled dead skin till it bled like a stuck core-rotted artery. Wearing heavy leather work boots and sweaty stinking socks on 12-14 hour shifts prolonged the agony,,,,, but had to be done.
