My bride ventured out today and picked up a few bags for the stove… nice and toasty right now. We did a remodel a few years ago including opening up the ceiling and adding a staircase in the LR that add's access to the former second floor apt. We've had mild winters since then and didn't have any problems keeping the house warm if the pellet stove was shut down… not so this season! With the pellet burner going the upstairs is around 69F… last night, with sub zero temps and no pellets, the upstairs bedrooms were 55F… wow. The flu deal is subsiding…. I should be back to abnormal in a couple of days. Not only did the flu kick my azz but I got a major gout attack a couple days ago… couldn't eat, sleep or walk. I looked like one of the characters in the famous Star Wars bar scene!
Im going to venture out into the world tomorrow and return to work probably in time to be sent home because of the snow
