    The wood darkens quite a bit. Spent a lot of years trying to figure out how to keep that beautiful red color. Haven’t figured it out yet :)
    Still looks nice tho. My master bath vanity Is all cedar, including the top. With wide board pine floors. I broke all the rules up there LOL

    Here's our slap together indoor solution. Whatever carp bits of wood handy. It's temporary till we redo the kitchen. I hope to move the door out of the kitchen add counter space, and wood storage underneath.
    This rendition holds a 25 hour supply in cold weather.

    Needs the FHC logo burned into it! :whistle: Real nice job. What stain color did you go with? Full of wood yet? Too bad you dont have a picture of the log it come from.

    So is ours, minus the vanity top (found a vitreous counter top on clearance at Lowes years ago). Walls, ceiling, linen closet and vanity casework all WRC.
    Was going to pickle it, but never got around to it- best done to the individual T & G boards before installing IMO.
    All untreated cedar and it still looks great after 10 years. :yes:
