70º outside right now and I am going out and split locust and red oak for an hour then jump in the pool. Enjoy the day all

We just had our BBQ. Steak, chicken, burgers, corn on the cob, watermelon, cut up veggies and dip. Beer! Cake with berries and toping. Now getting ready for the fire pit.
First time in two years I did the BBQ. Steak was tender and the chicken not burned or dried out.
Fire pit to lite now. I've missed this for way too long.

Does anyone remember the American Freedom train that traveled around the country in 1975 -76? It had a few hundred Americana artifacts on board and was open for tours. I remember going on it when it stopped in NH. I believed it was pulled by a steam engine.

    Happy Independence day !!

No major plans here, we took down 5-6 small-midsize trees that were blocking sunshine (let there be light!!), burned them up and now its time to put 2 Filet Mignon on the grill. :grizz:

The neighbors had a party so we spent the afternoon over there then lit off close to $2k worth of fireworks in my field. Only had one mortar go off on the ground due to it being loaded upside down  (Not by me!)

savemoney thank you for your service! Also to all our other members who have served and are currently serving. Thank you!
