    I was surprised myself. I saw the tree when it was standing and thought for sure it would be junk all the way up to the limbs. I guess only the first 6 feet were punked out but then it was solid. :thumbs:

    Really?! I don't think I have ever had any S.M. does it dry down to weighing so light like Aspen?

    What’s not to like about it.. roughly same BTUs as pine and no sticky pitch! Burn lots of Yellow poplar here.. grows fast, dries fast easy to split..
