That boy sure knew how to spice up a road trip too...I don't think eatonpcat or I will ever forget almost having to give him the Heimlich maneuver at 70 MPH on the freeway because he inhaled a gummy worm (bear?) and was choking on it! (he was driving, obviously) I don't think he even shut off the cruise control during the whole ordeal!
Afterwards he unceremoniously whipped the rest of the bag out the window with a string of @#&%! for a bon voyage!
We might have made a few jokes about the poor lil woodland creature that was probably gonna find that bag and choke on it...highway worker comes along to pick up the bloated (insert your choice of endangered specie here) to find the poor thing on its back, bloated, with gummy worms stuck in its throat!

If anyone here at FHC never attended a GTG where he was present… and won’t be again… no truer words spoken.
    :salute:

    A real man.
    A likable man.
    A family man.
    A friend to many.
    A brother to many.
A man of shorter stature who was taller than many in so many ways.

Sorry… I just can’t believe our friend and brother is gone.
    :(

Maybe for tonight… he will be remembered beyond, and toasted to then, as well.

Was given the news by Chazsbetterhalf, I was simply floored.
    :(

    Shame for someone so young.

May he rest in peace, and the Lord hold his family.

Kenis was always proud of his family. He worked hard to make sure they had a good life.

He shared these with me a few weeks ago when we were talking about the GTG… 221B40D2-E2A8-4C99-B9BF-537075CD7C47.jpeg

I can’t believe that the world is a little dimmer today because my friend is gone. I know that his ever lasting soul has gone home, but I am still saddened because those who knew and loved him will be deprived of his company for a time. Rest In Peace Brother… I’ll catch up to you on the flip side…

I only met him once and he was very kind to Elizabeth and myself. I just don't understand....this seems to have come from nowhere.

I've been to his place several times and welcomed him here many times. I had not seen him for a while and was really looking forward to seeing him again next month. I and we lost a good friend. RIP Kenis.

So sorry to hear this news yesterday. We met him at the '19 GTG @ Dennis'. Didn't get a chance to talk to him much, he was sure riding his 4wheeler around the place. May he RIP and JESUS hold Kenis in HIS ARMS, may HIS PEACE and COMFORT surround his family...:(:(...

Have enjoyed reading the stories from those who knew him well. And, Dex's many posts way back when, when I first joined FHC. He clearly was one of the good guys, who loved life and cherished his family... taken way too young. My condolences to the Keathley family.
    Rest in peace Kenis.
