This one needs work, but all are projects we can do while living there. Removing wallpaper, adding additional kitchen cabinets, replace most of the flooring, install trim. Small amount of drywall work needed in the finished basement.

    Congratulation on the move.
A change in the scenery is sometimes just what is need to lift the spirits. Does this place has outbuilding, like the one you use the upstairs for munitions storage? Good you can do the reno yourself. Big money right there. Pallet Pete and papadave are two of the ones I can recall among countless other who have done major renovations to their homes.

Attached garage with workshop. A good sized shed that will be for mower/tiller/snowblower storage and the like. Master bedroom large enough for a California king size bed. We are going to get one of those shortly after the new year, got one picked out. I am tired of my feet hanging off the bed, makes my ankles ache.

Excellent! That sound like a set up with lots of potential. Put a little heat in there to take the edge off and you have an ideal working set up. With the other equipment in a separate storage building, you'll be able to move about in the garage without having to move something every time you want to do a project. I would dread the move, but after it is over, you can settle down and set your priorities. I would make a priority list by wants first, then sort by need, and then by time and money. Those last two would shorten up my list considerably!
