    The one I've seen a few times is the engineers using scaled sized components to fit in an enclosure on Inventor. So when the shop crew are assembling, they go to put the VFD in and the door won't close. So we end up having the "planned enclosure upsize program in place". That entails not popping holes in the enclosure until a through test fit of all components.

    No worries here, after the electrical design is established, I/we design base/core clamp structure/enclosure to suit the clearance needs of the electrical design. And it helps me that I’ve built them from the ground up and tested them before I moved on to mech design.:yes:
