    Alaska, North of Anchorage & South of Fairbanks
    That's all I cut this & last year. Alaska birch. (23.6 million BTU/cord)
    (well had to take a few small spruce that got in the way when felling)
    Have to take 5" diameter & above.

    I measure & draw lines & then split to maximize the yield of uniform sized, cross stacking shaped splits. :)

    But 3 years of drying with ash is super good! Shoot, 7 years is still super good.
