I WAS using Bunny's place and still have a splitter plus some wood out at Bunny's but not much wood to split out there. Have around a cord in the back yard to split, but yes, trying to keep that area small as I would like to have a little nicer back yard. Currently the splitter is in the driveway but will return out back once I get the last of the honey locust home and split (maybe today). Most of the totes in the way back that you can't see are premium wood such as HL, hedge, white oak, mulberry, with some ash and this and that mixed in. Love the totes and over-fill them hoping to get close to a half cord in each.
I got some wood yesterday. We filled dad’s old manure spreader and the front of the dovetail. It was about 60 miles away. And it was a slow drive there and back. Took all day and is a “maybe” on if it was worth it. Half the wood was at the bottom of a steep hill down by the river. We did manage to get it all out with the bobcat. I will snap some pictures in a bit before I unload it. I would be willing to go back for more when it is available, as long as there is enough to justify the trip.
Here ya go… I had the trailer half unloaded before I remembered to take a picture. The wood pile is growing.
