Life is all about choices, and a lot of people choose to hate saving money. It has nothing to do with the year they were born.

So, I'm an OG millennial, but still a millennial ('81). We're a single income family and own our home (not rent it from the bank). I don't make a lot of money, but smart choices with spending habits gives us a comfortable life. I'm tired of hearing the guys at work who are in their late 40's who make more money than I do, and have for the the past 10 years, complaining about being broke from one side of their mouth and then talking about their new boat, Harley, F250, etc, out of the other side.

got to love our banking system- i do not owe anything. my home shop trucks all paid, therefore, according to the system, i am not worth anything. And I am self employed and as such not a good credit risk either.

And when did it become shameful to see how long you can make something last ? Take care of whatever you have, a LOT of what we buy could be handed down. My shovels as an example some belonged to my grandfather before ww2. Not a clue how he got them but probably not new. Still be digging after I'm gone. Thing is some people will buy a shovel over and over spending money because they lost it or drove over it or.......
    No respect

    oh! ain't it the truth!
We just got reassessed here in Blair County. This is a fiasco of epic proportion!!!
They were already near the max mil. So they assessed every property about 40-50 % higher than actual value.
    Most peoples taxes doubled!!
The appeal process is designed to favor the county, of coarse.
