We fired up our IS last. Opened windows and burnt the new smell off. I loaded a 2/3 load of ash in stove. I am so impressed, it’s been 14 hours since I started fire and I have a lot of coals. Inside temp was still 275. Which that’s not putting out a lot of heat but for the amount of wood I put in I’m very happy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Having fun? I was, and still am, amazed at the long burn times also.. I'll use some small Aspen splits in the morning to help burn up some of the coals. It's a far better stove than my first two. How's your firewood stash coming?
I’m in good shape on wood. 4-5 years ahead. Cutting all the dead ash put me way ahead. But I have the sickness!! I can’t get enough firewood. My neighbor that farm just told me he has several dead ash he wants me to cut and 6 hickory trees he needs taken down. I’m pumped!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
