I thought I was the only one who doesn't put sugar in iced tea! Good to know I'm normal, or closer to it anyway
If you want some good bottle tea Arizona is way above the rest but lipton has come out with some new stuff thats good also. Those off brands store brands stay away. Try Arizona Green Tea with honey is really good in a tall can for those of you the like tall boys.
YUK! haha! Though I've made the mistake of asking for sweet tea in the south and having something that seemed about as healthy to drink as maple syrup!
Use fresh loose leaf tea, and don't steep it too long, maybe 2-3 minutes. If you want it stronger use more tea, don't steep it longer. We have one of these. Paid $3 at Salvation Army http://www.finum.com/gourmet-accessories/tea-makers-non-electric/tea-control-10.html
I use one of these for coffee and tea. I can put 4 table spoons of loose tea in one time and use a really large glass then dump it into the pitcher then repeat another cycle if I need too. http://www.bunnathome.com/products/single-serve/my-cafe-mcu
I never realized that there was such a difference in Canadian iced tea and American iced tea until I ordered iced tea when we were down below the border. Ours is the sweet iced tea crystals not real tea made up cold. Celestial Seasonings made a tea called Iced Delight that after I finally discovered it, discontinued it. I like the idea of the Black Current tea. I will have to look for some. Now a days, I make a pot of herb tea such as Tazo Wild Sweet Orange, drink one cup hot and finish the pot off when the tea is cold - no sugar added.
