Thank you! Even though it’s a gooseneck, it’s not a huge trailer - 7x12, 12k gross I believe. I doubt I would need to winch anything as big and heavy as your 36” oak - if it’s that big I’m going to figure out how to load it hydraulically. LOL But the winch idea is a good one and something that I’m going to look into as I have time. Like I said already, I’m always very curious to see how others deal with their chores and challenges. I appreciate the information!

When are we going to get you hooked up with a hooker,,,,,,err i mean a wench, err a winch? LOL. Just kiddin, The hooker thing just popped into my head, it is a little like fishing for logs :) I have a new nickname for my trailer.
I know you use/need a tractor on many of your jobs but maybe you’d like to go fishing on the job too :)

Hot dang! Heck of a score ya have going there! I’d definitely take all that I could. Heat wave is coming back next week down here so I’m still in the hold pattern.
That massive stem going in the trailer :bug:. The only button I get to press to load those is a saw trigger. :faint:
    Hoard on! :dex:

Just pulling it out of the pile, getting it aimed in the right direction. Cut three 18” pieces off the back end then shoved it on. ;)

Very functional I'm sure and a good idea! It is plain to see, however, that whoever done the welding,..done it themselves.:)

They even came up with an international symbol for my welding ability. Not sure if I’m famous or infamous?

That’s why I pulled that big log onboard as a first test. If it’s going to break do it now before I put all the tools away LOL
