Yep. We're Monday night into Tuesday and it's headed your way. :)

Yep. The Force is diesel powered in these parts.

Normally yes, but we're looking at highs in the mid 30's all next week with lows in the upper teens and low 20's so it may stick around a little while.

When the ol' sun gets a shinning this time of year, it turns it up a notch and creates a lot of solar gain against anything dark....evidenced by any asphalt road (in sunshine) or even right down to the dark tree trunks of the forests.....they have that ring of snow melted all around them.

That Dodge pictured above has been plowing for 20 years. The body is totally shot. Even the blade is rusted through in a couple spots. Last year the inspection guy wouldn't let the body go any longer. I replaced the doors and bought front fenders for it but then decided to give up plowing. Now it's sets here for when I need to move stuff around the property or when there's a big snow; like tomorrow night is supposed to be.

Only about 4" forecast for us. Hopefully it will melt quickly. I put the snow blade away and don't want to put it back on.

Some cars are better on that than others.

But yes, we've had crazy weather here in Wisconsin too. Guys taking motorcycles to work in February is nuts. But that's what we had this year, the warmest February on record.

The whole truck is aluminum. Well all the sheet metal. The frame is steel.

GM is going aluminum too by 2020.

But not just Ford trucks, or aluminum bodied vehicles. Audi has a 11 year no rust guarantee. My 04 Audi Allroad has zero rust, anywhere. Granted the hood is aluminum, but most of the body is steel.

It all has to do with paint and prep, along with use of quality primers/ corrosion protection.
