    That is not a problem unless you are really short on one end. But then a pickeroon or log tongs work wonders. I'd hate to be without mine.

    If you find some with the containers, I'd consider buying the containers from you just for hauling water.

    They will take a lot of abuse and that is one reason they could work well for firewood.

    Are you talking about taking the plastic out then filling with water? I dont think they will hold up too well without the cage.

    were a hundred bucks each
    now up to $120
    330 Gallon IBC Tote tank non food grade originally held motor oil

    a hundred bucks seems a bit steep to me even if they are the heavy duty ones with built in pallet on the bottom.
    was considering for rain barrel.

    But one can make a good cage that will hold up and those would be handy because we haul water from a neighbor's pond and those would make the task easier than man handling the barrels we now use.
