Ok, you did it! Thanks. Looks like a warm fire. Do you have both stoves going? I noticed we have about the same outside temperature right now. We have the p68 going. About 82 f in here. Wife likes it extra warm. I wilt. Then she give me grief if I don't want to sit in the same room.

Yes Larry, the pellet stove has been 24/7 for a few weeks now, its currently on the medium setting:thumbs:. Its so much easier than wood and runs great!
We had nice weather here yesterday and today so I left the wood stove cold til a front moved in tonight. The pellet stove heats an open room that is kitchen/living room/my computer, or where I spend most my time. Currently 81* :emb: :handshake:. Unfortunately I need it extra warm too, hubby wears tank tops in the evening

I just checked Weather Underground, it says humidity is 69% outside and I have it up to 21% in here.

Sorry us wives cook you all out, but thanks for putting up with it :D

Thanks, A LOT different than old stoves. I had to turn down the air intake pretty soon, temp went to 600* in a matter of minutes with the wind here. Cruising at mid 500*'s last check. LOL this stove has a slide lever for air, I have only ever used caps. The lever also has marks above it for more or less

    Looks good Wildwest! !

Anytime you can't post a pic, you can PM me or any of the staff. I would give you my personal number to text a pic to.

That firebox may be smaller, but they are more efficient and should keep you plenty warm. Especially with that big ol pellet eater

How do you catch a polar bear?

Dig a hole in the ice and set peas all the way around.
Wait till the polar bear comes over to take a pee, then kick him in the icehole!

I think you are right, They look real similar, just took a detour to the website and I think your firebox is 2x the size of mine, 3.5 cf vs 1.8 :emb:

The 13-NC that MightyWhitey has is the same size firebox 1.8 cu ft, as the 13 NCI (insert) that you have.

The 30-NC which I have is 3.5 cu ft.

Wildwest, we'd like to know more about the super cedar. How much of one did you use to start the fire? Here, we break them into quarters. Some break them into 8 pieces but that is a bit small.
