I've done both...it has to be put in sparingly in a car tire though, so it would likely only work on a very small slow leak, and did for me, didn't really cause balance issues either...but that wouldn't work on a car with TPS.
And I haven't had an ATV tire without slime in 40 years! (except maybe for the flips) it saves a lot of tire leak headaches!

I've been temped to wonder over into the Amish / Mennonite communities near here to see if I could find some metal front wheels for Fergy, but I'm sure I wouldn't like it for the occasional jaunts down the road...

I have 4 spare tubes in the shed. I borrow my neighbors tire spoons and he laughs at me every time cuz he knows what I did...

I have a foam filled tire on my wheelbarrow. I HATE it!!! With a big heavy load on, it feels like it's half flat. I'll replace it with a good old inflatable when I get around to it, they roll so much better with a load.

Big difference between a "cheap" store bought foam filled wheelbarrow tire and a professionally filled tire from the local shop...and I know you guys have a shop out that way that does it because we used them at the mill...just don't recall the name of the place...and those would hold up to 125k lbs on 4 tires, so I know the front end of the Massey would be nothing. They have different densities and fill rates based on load and speed.

Yeah, that cheapo tire is probably optimal for Jane homeowner who's large load is leaves or twigs... I'll have to look into the real foam. Thanks for the tip.

I thought you meant Mansfield South Dakota.....
I was going to say...."there's nothing in Mansfield..."
It's just about 40 houses, a post office and a bar. And I bet 25%-50% of the houses are empty

I borrowed an MTD splitter before I got mine. The stamped log rippers are a poor design. Lots of room for improvement there.
