    How do they know this? Man has NO vast record other than Nature. Let's say man has been "Scientific" for the last 300 years. That is NOTHING compared to the last MILLION years. They have NO idea about it. Let us also know, there were Seas/Oceans where there is now land and etc... I'm not bashing what you said at all, what I am saying is we know 1/0000 of 1% of what really happened in the past. And, I again personally don't trust ANY Government entity, even NASA!

    And, how long did the Marines go on letting people drink, shower and water their lawns with Contaminated water? "OH But the water is safe"! Scientists said that! (From the Government) My Brother was bombarded in Vietnam with Agent Orange, he's DEAD now because of it and the Government said; "It'll never harm them........ Oh really? Hmmmmmm..... Trust NASA, MY A$$!

    Go ask the US NAVY where the thousands of tons of "Submarine batteries" are buried, THAT the EPA knows about that will eventually break open and leach into the streams and water ways! Do you know anything about that? I do! Gee, just Google where a Sub base happens to be... We also have areas in this Country that are Soooooooooooooooooooo secret where they have transported NUCLEAR waist from Subs and Carriers and depleted missiles, that you'll never hear about! But there there! Go ask the Government where they are! Funny thing is, It might be in a few folks back yard. "Trust the Government". HA!!!!!

    I thought you would respond with personal knowledge based on your readings from all of the scientists you're putting your faith in.

    So I skimmed through that (I work ya know) and basically this is what I found:

    Carbon Dioxide (CO2)
    Methane (CH4)
    Nitrous Oxide (N2O)

    Why are these a problem? How is this a "man made" problem? I'm asking you and anyone else interested enough in this topic to form such a strong opinion in opposition to the rest of us who "don't see it". I still don't see the proof that the planet is warming in an irregular fashion and human activity is the cause.

    I understand and respect that you and many others have zero trust/respect for any government entity (and that’s probably an understatement). And I’m not saying that I explicitly trust the government. No way.

    I also appreciate that you started this post with an information source on climate-related info. I’m keen to hear where others get their information.

    Understand, (I) always appreciate your Input or anyone else's for that matter. BUT, I play by FACTS, not what is published by some desk jockey having been dictated to by some Government official. I have personally witnessed this WAY to many times in 27 years of military service! I have been told to "SHUT UP" and not speak! Fully in fear of my career!!! I am now retired and can say what ever the Hell I want to. There are even some things NOW at this current moment I cannot say (Because) of being debriefed and knowledge of various things. They WILL come and put your A$$ in Jail, with NO trial...

    Dude...no lol. Not within the Miocene period.

    Greenland began it's move from the North Atlantic around 100 million years ago. It has been in its current position for about 30 million years. As a matter of fact the southern part of Greenland was actually fairly green, and the Vikings thrived there around 1000 ad.

    The polar wobble I am familiar with is known as axial precession and changes in cycles of about 26,000 years. Is there another wobble you are referring to?

    I’m at work too—not exactly flush with time either.

    This isn’t a simple issue. I would hope that you’re not going to be swayed by a not-scientist with a cricket avatar in an online forum that you’ve never met in person. I think we’re all more likely to learn from sources that we respect and trust than what a stranger says they have learned. I don’t trust NOAA or NASA or the EPA 100%, but I do put some credence in what they say. Others don’t—I get it. A few more that I would put some stock in:

    Cornell University analysis of peer-reviewed studies:

    United Nations: AR6 Synthesis Report: Summary for Policymakers Headline Statements

    UK-based org:

    They aren’t afraid to point out flaws in research:

    If you don’t place value in any of these organizations, what do you trust? Links please!

    Just go research WHO is funding Cornell University! I won't tell you that the Chairwoman and CEO of Kraft foods just gave 5 MILLION dollars to that College of studies and go look at her background of Climate change! Hmmmmm.....

    Right here is a perfect example of things we are just now finding out. Nobody knows the real facts and this earth is changing daily! How did the Woolly Mammoth die off and some of them still had, "Tropical food" in their mouths and stomachs?
