    If I remember correctly, the Huntsman 241 is similar to the Fisher Mama Bear....so it should weigh approx 400 lbs.
    I used the Huntsman one season and replaced it with a NC-30.
    The Huntsman did a good job of keeping my house warm....ate a lot of wood, but kept us warm.
    I still have my Huntsman, never got around to listing it for sale.

    Yea I could not find it either.
    My guess, 550 lbs cause that is what my Nashua weighs.

    Yes, first welcome to the forum, nice to have you here! :) PapaDave and Well seasoned are right on the money at 400lb's, "with the fire brick in" If you take out the fire brick you can shave off 100lbs if you plan on moving it. And your door is pinned so if you remove that you can take off another 30 to 40lbs. Makes life much easier moving them.

    I used to use anti seize on the threads of the draft knobs and the hinge pins. I applied it a couple times a season, it seemed to work well.

    It is not a fun job, but two people can move a lot of weight by being smart and careful.

    99lbs and I know exactly what the two of you were up against. She usually has something to do when I move stoves now!!! "Let me know when its done..."
