    Lucky the caliper stayed? Could have been worse with no brake pedal at all.

    Glad your ok, that's the main thing. Wonder what exactly happened, something bound up because those caliper Brkt. Bolts didn't just break for no reason. I have seen the aluminum rims break like this a few times on claims I handled.

    yeah caliber bolts snapped off clean pulled them out stuck in a couple new ones put it all back together put a different rim on it and drove to work today everything seems ok
    I did drive pretty slow this morning thats for sure.
    Only problem now is my entire family is giving me a hard time about always driving clunkers.
    It's nothing new for me i have never bought a new vehicle for just myself.
    I have always kept the maint up so why get new when its still working. I have 3 vehicles 1 st 2004 pontiac gm with 354237 miles on it was my daily driver til a/c quit and window fell out of drivers door about a month ago.
    2nd is a ford f150 with 226019 miles on it this is the one all the excitement was with. 3rd is a 2008 ford fusion with 12200 orso miles on the girl friend drives this one.
    I am a verified tight wad my wallet squeeks when opened and i like it that way.
